Our name brings together the seven founding dimensions of our work.
The letter R stands for “Risks”.
A study, consulting and certification-support firm
IFECARM GROUP aims to be an organisation of diversified poly-competencies built around a block of competencies unique in Africa, working with collective intelligence around shared core values. Our ambition is to strengthen our role as a study, consulting and certification-support firm, without standing in for accredited certification bodies.
From a personal initiative to a structured firm
Founded as a sole proprietorship
Sergio S. G. DOSSOU, Sr. Eng., founds IFECARM in Benin. Mission: to bring quality QHSE expertise to local and sub-regional companies.
Expansion of the training offer
Structured INRS SST, FORPREV, ATEX and SSIAP 3 qualifications. First engagements with major industrial accounts in Benin.
Established in France
Opening of a branch in France to support French companies and create a natural bridge between the two continents.
Incorporation as a limited company
IFECARM GROUP becomes a limited liability company. Structuring of the multidisciplinary team and strategic expansion of the service offering.
Africa & Europe: a presence across two continents
The group’s Africa Headquarters and operational hub for all of West Africa, with a multidisciplinary team rooted in the reality of Beninese and sub-regional companies. It is intended to oversee the group’s future regional directorates in Africa, all reporting to the Africa General Management.
The group’s international headquarters, established in France. Supporting French companies with their QHSE obligations and classified ICPE (Facilities Classified for Environmental Protection) & SEVESO sites, and a natural bridge for groups operating in Africa and Europe.
