The ISO standards we master

Five standards, five pillars of excellence

Our approach

The 5 steps to certification

01

Initial assessment

A gap analysis to measure the distance between your current situation and the requirements of the target standard.

02

IMS planning

Development of the action plan, the QHSE policy, measurable objectives and the documentation.

03

Roll-out & training

Implementation of processes, training of teams and activation of performance indicators.

04

Internal audit

Verification of system compliance ahead of the certification audit and correction of the final gaps.

05

Certification audit

Third-party audit by an accredited body (AFNOR, Bureau Veritas, SGS…). The certificate is then issued.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions about ISO certification

How long does an ISO certification project take?

Generally 6 to 18 months depending on your organisation’s maturity, from the initial assessment through to the third-party certification audit.

Does IFECARM GROUP issue the certification directly?

No. We prepare your organisation up to the certification audit, which is carried out by an independent accredited body (AFNOR Certification, Bureau Veritas, SGS…).

Can several standards be combined into a single management system?

Yes. Several standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001…) can be brought together into a single Integrated Management System (IMS), rather than managed separately.

How do I know which standard fits my business?

An initial assessment identifies your priority issues and the standard best suited to your context, before any commitment.

Do I need an assessment before pursuing certification?

Yes, it is recommended: the assessment (gap analysis) measures the gap between your current situation and the requirements of the target standard, with no obligation to proceed further.
