Mission
Deploy and monitor effective QHSE systems, oversee risk and compliance surveillance, produce reliable deliverables, and support teams and clients in sustainably improving their practices. Contribute to the development of the QHSE department and bring forward proposals and structural innovations for the start-up.
Responsibilities
- Analyse the needs expressed by clients and prospects to identify the QHSE issues to be addressed.
- Propose practical, realistic solutions suited to the context, sector of activity and maturity level of each organisation.
- Design and build technical and financial proposals in response to service requests, tenders and expressions of interest.
- Define the intervention methodology, deliverables, schedule, required resources and expected outcomes.
- Contribute to prospecting meetings, technical presentations and proposal defences with clients.
- Take part in developing new services enabling the firm to strengthen its positioning and win new assignments.
- Provide support to IFECARM GROUP’s operational departments on EHS matters.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate QHSE practices into operational processes.
- Prepare and design operational plans and organise the resources needed to carry out awarded assignments.
- Carry out inspections, diagnostics, risk assessments and compliance checks.
- Support clients in designing, implementing and improving their management systems, in particular under the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Prepare and conduct internal audits, field audits, documentary reviews and compliance assessments.
- Design, prepare and deliver training sessions, workshops, awareness sessions and hands-on support tailored to clients’ needs.
- Conduct in-depth investigations and analyse accidents, incidents, near-misses and non-conformities, then support the definition and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions to improve practices (PDCA).
- Develop and update QHSE procedures, instructions, registers, action plans, monitoring tools and dashboards (Group KPIs), and build tailored reports.
- Assess control over high-risk activities, protective equipment, waste, hazardous substances and emergency situations.
- Evaluate suppliers, subcontractors and partners against applicable QHSE requirements.
- Produce reports, deliverables and recommendations that are clear, factual, actionable and consistent with commitments made to clients.
- Monitor action plans and verify the effectiveness of the solutions implemented.
- Contribute to client satisfaction and loyalty through the quality of interventions, adherence to deadlines and the relevance of proposed solutions.

Profile sought
- Engineering degree or Master’s in QHSE, HSE, industrial safety, environment, quality, industrial engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of relevant professional experience, with genuine hands-on fieldwork.
- Good command of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Proficiency with risk assessment, root-cause analysis, audit and action-plan follow-up tools.
- Very good writing and summarising skills in French.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Availability to travel to sites, construction sites and facilities.
- Basic English skills enabling communication in an English-speaking environment.
- Ideally, you have gained experience within an industrial or building infrastructure environment.
- You are comfortable using analysis and problem-solving tools.
- An auditor qualification, experience in a consulting firm or knowledge of ISO 31000 / ISO 50001 is an advantage.
