QHSE & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Intern

Aibatin, Cotonou 6-month internship

Mission

As part of the development of its consulting, auditing, training and skills-provision offer, IFECARM GROUP invites you to take part in concrete activities to structure, deploy and monitor QHSE and CSR approaches for client companies. Under the supervision of your manager, you will build your skills in analysing, structuring and monitoring IFECARM GROUP’s and its clients’ QHSE and CSR approaches, helping turn stakeholder requirements, risks and expectations into concrete, measurable actions, with guided support to help you progress step by step.

Responsibilities

  • Analysing an organisation’s context and its stakeholders’ expectations
  • Contributing to process mapping and QHSE documentation
  • Identifying and assessing QHSE and CSR risks and opportunities
  • Taking part in regulatory monitoring and applicable compliance assessment
  • Applying the principles of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 26000 standards
  • Taking part in QHSE-CSR diagnostics, assessments and audits
  • Drafting QHSE, CSR and sustainable development action plans
  • Collecting, organising and analysing QHSE-CSR data and indicators
  • Designing dashboards, monitoring tools and performance reports
  • Contributing to staff awareness and stakeholder dialogue

Education

Final-year training in QHSE, HSE, sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, environment, organisational management or an equivalent field, Bachelor’s degree level

Professional experience

Prior experience, an academic project or an internship in QHSE, CSR or sustainable development is an advantage but not required

Hard skills

Basic knowledge of QHSE management systems and corporate social responsibilityFamiliarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or ISO 26000 is desirableBasic proficiency with Word, Excel and digital tools
