What this course aims to achieve

Renew your SST trainer certificate for 36 months

Three days renewing one's occupational first-aid trainer certificate: revisiting the actions, updating on the referential and the recommendations, and comparing one's delivery and assessment practice with others'.

Key challenges

  • A trainer drifts all the faster for teaching often: their shortcuts become the content, and their scenarios shrink to the ones they are comfortable with.
  • Certifying assessment is the most exposed competence: a trainer who never adjusts their criteria ends up awarding certificates without discriminating.
  • First-aid recommendations change, and a trainer passes them on to dozens of people: a missed update spreads.

  • Update one's knowledge of the referential and of first-aid recommendations

  • Have one's delivery practice assessed and correct any drift

Update test on the referential

Renewal of the trainer certificate on success

Scope of application

Delivered in accordance with the scheme's national referential. The renewal interval for the trainer certificate is set by that referential and confirmed at enrolment. Renewing the certificate does not amount to accreditation of the organisation to deliver the scheme.
