  4. 4Extinguishing: extinguishers, hose reel networks, sprinklers, gas extinguishing.
  5. 5Water supplies and containment of extinguishing water.
  6. 6Inspection, maintenance and reading reports.
  7. 7Technical case studies.

Prerequisites

  • Notions of fire safety useful; pathway conditions to be checked before enrolment.

This cycle gives technical culture; it does not qualify anyone to install, inspect or maintain systems, which need dedicated qualifications. The regulatory framework described is French; obligations applicable in Benin or another country differ and must be checked with the local authority or operator.
