Building RCCI: 1st module of a qualifying pathway in fire cause and circumstance investigation

Three days to learn the core method for finding fire causes in a building: securing the scene, observing, sampling, forming hypotheses.

Key challenges

The scene is destroyed by the fire, by the response and then by clearing: what remains must be read before it disappears.
Hypotheses must be tested and not confirmed: a cause is not deduced from a single trace.

Document findings and draft substantiated conclusions.
