Construction & Infrastructure 2Construction & Infrastructure 3Construction & Infrastructure 4

The construction sector accounts for a disproportionate share of serious and fatal workplace accidents, both in Benin and in France: falls from height, site machinery, ground collapses, electrical hazards and poorly managed coactivity between trades. Every worksite is a temporary, evolving environment, which makes prevention harder than on a fixed industrial site. Project owners and contracting authorities now expect a solid general coordination plan, a health and safety plan for every contractor, and full traceability of authorisations (work at height, machinery, electrical). Across the sub-region, growth in road, port and property infrastructure is multiplying worksites, often with a workforce not yet trained in the sector’s specific risks. IFECARM GROUP supports construction firms and project owners in building prevention that is realistic and actually applied on site, not just on paper, drawing on a proven prevention methodology adapted to worksite realities in Benin, West Africa and France.
