What this course aims to achieve

Acquire the skills needed to conduct cross audits of food safety management systems under the ISO 22000, IFS and BRC standards

Four days to audit a food safety system against ISO 22000 and the private IFS and BRC standards, and understand their differences.

  • Retail customers sometimes require a private standard; the auditor must know its specific requirements.

IFS and BRC are private standards and not legal texts. The course grants neither auditor approval for these standards nor certification: these belong to their owners and certification bodies.
